In good news for victims and the state, New South Wales government has amended the current statute of limitations for bringing a child sexual abuse allegation in civil court. NSW Government now allows victims of child sexual abuse to bring the claim to the civil court without a time limitation. Previously, the law had placed a restrictive time frame for the victim to make a claim.
